Prolonged course of chronic prostatitis leads to involvement of the immunologic mechanism of protection, as on local as well as at a system level and in the subsequent - to progress of autoimmune processes, formation of secondary immuno-deficiency, manifested with the suppression of T-system immunity and phagocytes' dysfunction. In tissues of prostates during the inflammatory process it is formed the infiltrate, mainly composed of lymphocytes and plasmatic cells. The substances composing part of antibodies are accumulated in infiltrate tissues. As a result of chronic inflammatory process of prostates there takes place the disturbance of hematotesticular barrier penetration (HBP) and enhancement of antispermal antibodies' (ASA) content in blood with further progress of autoimmunic infertility. During the treatment of chronic prostatitis it would be very expedient to involve the preparations into the treating scheme, activating immune processes (neovir, zicloferon, glutocsim and etc.), which in turn would promote the increasie of treatment efficiency for this pathology.
